Glacier in Val de Travers

We all had fun in Val de Travers; we went to a hole which was a glacier. We all climbed down into a cave at the bottom of the hole, the cave was all ice and the ice was 15 meters thick. On either side of the ice there was a 15 meters drop! Ms. Fish made a few avalanches and made us all cold, and Mr. Robinson is a professional at this, so we learned a lot!

Arthur Gray

Arthur is our school rabbit. He is 5 years old and lives in the school building. He has grey fur and pointy ears, he is our school mascot, and has been a bit jealous of Shakespeare (the dog) because Shakespeare has been having most of the attention from us for the past few weeks but now Shakespeare has gone, he is happy again. Here are some photos of Arthur…

D.E.A.R. Day

On the last day of school before the spring vacation we had D.E.A.R. Day. We had so much fun. Miss Fish came in her Sponge Bob pajamas with fuzzy slippers. It was funny (no offense Miss Fish). Lots of us wore sweats instead. The Middles were lucky because they got to have D.E.A.R. Day for 4 periods and we had D.E.A.R. Day for only 2. It was also Leon's last day so he brought in a cake and drinks. D.E.A.R. Day was so fun.

D.E.A.R. Day

On Friday the 8th of April is our D.E.A.R. DAY (Drop Everything and Read). It will be so much fun. In the morning everybody gets to wear pyjamas and we hope Miss Fish will wear her Sponge-Bob ones. In the afternoon we have triple P.E. so D.E.A.R. DAY won't last the whole day.

Dress Day

On Tuesday last week we had a dress day and we had to wear some green for St. Patrick's Day.

We paid 5 francs to participate, the money was sent to Japan. It was fun to go to school with our normal clothes. We looked like big leprechauns but we did not skip and prance around.

It was fun to be without uniform.

Bern

On Wednesday, the 23 of March the whole school went on a school trip. When we arrived in Bern Grace met us at the train station. We had 2 stops to make, 1 at the Paul Klee Zentrum and the other at the National History Museum. When we entered the Paul Klee Zentrum Sarah and Robin were there waiting for us. When we had put all of our things in the lockers we went to see Paul Klee's artwork. Each of us had to do a piece of creative writing. I did, two women in the wood. There was a lake nearby so we went and ate lunch there. Once we finished we went to the National History Museum. The Lower School had to go to the medieval expedition because that is what we the Lower School is working on in history. Everyone had a great time.

Lockers

A few weeks ago we got our new lockers. They are red and blue plus we switched back to our old locker room. Our locker room also has ski racks. Millie can even fit in a locker. I have one locker for books and pencils and another for my bag.
