On Wednesday the 10th and Thursday the 11th of February we are going to go to Winterthur!
We are actually looking forward to it because we are going rock climbing which I hope is going to be a lot of FUN! We also are going to do a lot of experiments in TECHNORAMA, a huge place with scientific exhibitions to learn by playing!!! And we also are going to have to revise our German skills because, in Winterthur, they speak German, which we are still learning.
Before going to TECHNORAMA we are going to the Natur Museum.
So all this trip is going to be dedicated to science & languages! And, if we come back talking to you about microgravity, flame spectroscopy, alpha particles and cells in German, don't be surprised :)

What's Cooking?
Recently, Sandra offered to set up a cooking club as an after school activity, in the interest of teaching students some new recipes.
Last Wednesday was the opening day. Sandra was only expecting a couple of people, but to her surprise an army of enthusiastic girls ranging from the youngest to oldest attended - so many in fact, that the kitchen was full!
Ingredients, utensils and music were present, and everyone was excited to make some crêpes. As we all mixed, poured, joked around to Mara's humour and tried not to mess things up, Sandra was preparing the extras to go on to our crêpes.
We then got to cook them and by the end we were laughing so hard at everyone's faces smeared with chocolate sauce - yum!
What will Sandra teach us this week...?
